Charleston Custom Construction

Good plumbing starts long before the faucets go in. It starts with the builder. That's why we at Avery & Sons Plumbing + Tankless are glad to work alongside Charleston Custom Construction, a local Charleston construction company that handles renovations, remodels, additions, and custom builds across the Lowcountry.

How We Work Together

When Charleston Custom Construction takes on a kitchen, a bathroom, an addition, or a full custom build, the plumbing has to be planned right the first time. Our crew handles the plumbing side of that work: rough-in, fixture installs, and tankless water heaters sized for the way the family actually lives in the house. We coordinate with their team on the schedule so walls don't get closed up before the lines are set and tested, and so the finished space works as well as it looks.

For homeowners, that means one less thing to worry about. The builder and the plumber are on the same page from the start.

Who They Are

Charleston Custom Construction is led by Derek Jones and Bill Carswell. They guide every project with clear communication and careful planning, and they keep working to expand what the company can do for homeowners.

Their work covers a lot of ground:

General construction, from small repairs to full home builds
Construction management on a flat-fee basis, so a project stays organized and supervised at every stage
Design and build, including refining layouts during construction to make better use of space
House renovations, from kitchens and bathrooms to full remodels
Custom closets, pantries, and storage
Special projects like insurance repairs, water damage restoration, termite repairs, outdoor kitchens, and pergolas

What Sets Them Apart

Local knowledge. They understand the homes, styles, and expectations that come with building in Charleston and the Lowcountry, and they build to fit both the property and the homeowner.

Quality craftsmanship. They focus on the small details so the work is built to last.

Personal service. Every project starts with a clear plan and a realistic timeline, and they stay in close contact with clients the whole way through. Expectations stay aligned, and the job keeps moving.

That's the kind of builder we like working with. They care about doing it right, and so do we.
